Keynote Speakers
Making Waves Dr. Kalaichelvi Saravanamuttu shares about her career using light waves to brighten up the world of optics.
She is a professor in the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology and an associate member in the Department of Engineering Physics at McMaster University. She researches novel ways to use different forms of light waves towards active photonics devices and nonlinear optical waves in photoresponsive systems. Gut FeelingsDr. Jane Foster talks about the connection between mental health and the immune system.
She is a professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster University. Her research focuses on how the immune system and gut interact with neurodevelopment, behaviour, and brain function under the Province of Ontario Neurodevelopmental Disorders Network and the Canadian Biomarker Integration Network in Depression. |
